On a trip to Edisto Island in South Carolina, the land owner had a number of horses you could ride to tour the property. This one locked eyes with me as I took the photo.

If you’re always looking right in front of you you’ll miss what’s on right over your head. As I was composing this shot in a rather famous Nashville alleyway, this bird flew through the frame adding a nice touch of life to the photo.
